Sam Sterling Architecture, llc (SSA) is a full-service architectural practice started in 2006 and based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have a staff of eight with two licensed architects. Our expertise includes complex renovations / adaptive re-use, new construction, master planning / programming, feasibility studies and wayfinding. We focus on cultural, institutional and governmental entities, priding ourselves on establishing long-term relationships with agencies, clients, consultants and contractors. We have experience across the SW with projects in Arizona and Texas. Our objective is to create optimistic, energy efficient, function-based, dynamic design that evolves out of a collaborative, hands-on and interactive process with project stakeholders and our consultant team. Integrating building systems and landscape are critical to our design approach. Our process is iterative, rigorous - and often surprising - but comes out of carefully listening to client concerns, aspirations, analysis of building systems and awareness of project constraints. It is through this immersive process that we search for integrated and surprising solutions. We are totally committed to our clients and to providing excellent customer service.
